Video Conferencing

OACS operates four Tandberg video conference equipped labs in the basement of Lefrak Hall. Labs 3, 4, and 5 are equipped with dual cameras, allowing you to capture images of students and instructors during the conference. Lab 1 is equipped with one camera, which captures students only.

For those persons who require the use of Skype or other instant messaging service, OACS has a mobile video conferencing application specifically built to accommodate such requirements. The application is composed of a wireless Dell D630 laptop and a Logitech QuickCam Pro webcam.

OACS also operates a small Tandberg equipped video conferencing facility in its conference room in 0221 Lefrak Hall.

To submit a video conference reservation, please navigate to the Video Conference Reservation Form. In the comments field, type in "ROOM" if you want to reserve the small conference room; "LAB" if you want to teach a computer based class and video conference with a remote location at the same time; or "WEBCAM" if you want to use the laptop/webcam application.
